Our Holiday...

Well we had a great time away and so good to see everyone.

The flights were a little hard as Dylan hated sitting still for so long. He didn't sleep very much, but everyone loved him and he enjoyed leaning over looking up and down the isle and standing up on my lap pulling faces at the people behind us.

So... we stayed the first night in Newcastle at Grandma's house, then went up to Forster for a few days. I tried to take Dylan swimming at the beach, but he didn't like it very much. He hated the feel of the sand and the waves were very loud! So we went for a swim at the aquatic center instead. Dylan loved Millie (and she loved him!!) and he found lots of stuff to play with at Poppy Ronny's house. He discovered the stairs after a few days and spent hours throwing his car down and crawling down after it. He crawled forwards for a little while and thankfully there weren't any falls.
Dylan met his only cousins for the first time too, maybe next time we see them they will all be old enough to have a proper play.

We then stopped off to visit the great grandparents on our way down to Sydney and then Great Grandma and Grandpop Hartley came over for dinner too. All were very excited to see us. Unfortunately I put Dylan to bed before I though to get a photo of him with the Hartleys so I'm very disappointed about that.

We had a day out in Sydney with Grandma, Aunty Kate and Aidan. We met Deb at Coogee beach for a quick coffee and play in the park. It was very cold and windy though. Then we went to the Aquarium. Dylan had a ball. He walked around everywhere and talked to all the fish and all the people and just loved it. It was a great day and maybe next time we will have a trip to the zoo!!

We then headed back up to Newy for the last few days. Grandma took Dylan to Blackbutt Reserve for a couple of hours to see the koalas, wombats and peacocks. I think they had a wonderful time, but while they were doing that I got my hair cut, had a manicure, pedicure and facial. It was lovely, thanks mum and Kate.

Then it was home again. Whilst we had alot of fun down there, it was great to get home and we missed Daddy very much.

Now, since we have been back..... Andrew has got his new car, a new Hilux Dualcab. He is very happy with it and was just so glad to get rid of the old one. Dylan has his 5th tooth coming through, top left. Rocky got out and was attacked by some other dogs. He was very close to dying, but is slowly getting better. It's Dylan's birthday on monday. We are taking him out to the lake in the arvo so he can have a play and run around in the park. It was a bit hard to organise a party cause the boys are working weekends and then others are working during the week. But I'm sure he will have fun and I will make him a yummy cake. Then Poppy Ronny is up for a visit next thursday. And not long till christmas. Andrew will be on nightshift and CJ and Shaun will be on dayshift for christmas so not sure we will be doing much.

Hope everyone is well and I will do another post in a while with some photos from Dylans birthday.
